■ Evaluation Comments
The gentle curves and restrained tones immerses residents in tranquility. Natural light coming from the opening seamlessly casts shadows across the walls, letting the residents rest in a pleasant and gentle flow of time. Spaces are smoothly connected by simple zoning. Change of tones and materials resonate with the shape of the ceiling, creating various scenes and defining comfortable distance and boundaries. The design style focusing on texture of materials and ambience of the space is consistent throughout the home, enhancing the house’s sensory appeal.

柔らかな曲線と抑制された色彩が、静けさと安らぎをもたらす住宅である。開口部からの自然光が壁面を滑らかに移ろい、居住者の生活に心地よい緩やかな時間の流れを与えているだろうと想像する。ゾーニングはシンプルでありながら各空間が緩やかにつながり、素材や色の切り替えが天井の造形と相まって多様なシーンを創出し心地よい距離感や境界を示す要素となっている。素材の質感や空気感を重視したデザイン姿勢が全体を通して貫かれており、この住宅の詩的魅力を高めている。

Cloud Traces 雲無心出岫
■ Proof of Achievement in Design: 3,070 Entries from 23 Countries Worldwide
Recognized as one of Asia’s top three design awards, the K-Design Award has unveiled its 2025 Online Exhibition. This year, a total of 3,070 works from 23 countries were submitted, evaluated by an international jury of 37 members through a fair and systematic judging process. Ultimately, 344 works—approximately 11% of the entries—were honored as winners, proving their creative excellence and value on the global design stage. We extend our heartfelt congratulations to all the designers and companies who have achieved this distinguished honor.
■ Judging Comments:
The original enclosed layout was reconfigured into a fluid space for multigenerational living. Partitions were removed and systems upgraded, with a soft curved axis linking foyer, dining, and living areas into one continuous flow. Mineral-finished walls, black veneer, and grey oak flooring create quiet contrast, while custom storage maintains spatial rhythm. Indirect lighting traces arcs of light and shadow, guiding movement with calm subtlety. The project was highly praised for its seamless transformation of outdated space into a serene and contemporary home.
